Introduction
That supreme Lord, embodiment of the
whole universe, became very easily accessible to me, since he descended to
Thirumala and from there into my heart he resides unable to move out;
Commentary
(eRaiyAi) Do you know who entered my
heart Oh! That supreme power who is sarvaswamy, the master of one and all
entered my heart;
(nilanAgi) He is the antaryami of the
earth; The hidden agenda is to enter my heart;
(eNdisaiyum thAnAi) Inner soul of all
the 8 directions;
Like police rounding off a whole area
to catch a thief, to enter azhvar’s heart emperuman entered all objects in all
the directions;
(maRaiyAi maraiporulAi) He by his
ultimate grace delivered the Vedas and he is the one talked about fully in it, the
very purpose of which is to make me cognize the good and bad, do’s and don’t’s.
The knowledge of the Vedas made me realize finally that the goal of the sastras
is to show Him to me;
(vAnAi) paramAkAsam-Paramapadam;
He is the controller of the Nithya mandalam;

After making the efforts to capture
azhvar’s heart perumal gets involved in decorating the divine abode in such a
way to welcome the divine soul, azhvar.
But during the in-between time before azhvar reaches paramapadam, perumal
resides in Thirumala, to make azhvar enjoy in ecstasy as Lord in archavatara is
the most easily accessible form;
(piRai vAindhaveLLaththaruvi viLangoLi
neer vEnkadaththAn) The divine hill that is greatly elevated as if touching the
Chandra mandal, waterfalls flooded with water gorgeously decorating the hill
and number of waterways making pleasant sound is the divine abode of the
supreme Lord Venkatesa. He awaits the
time to enter azhvar’s heart and bless him with divine service;
(vuLlaththin vuLlE vuLan) He now takes
a permanent place in my heart; After achieving the goal all the other places of
residence in nature, archa divyadesam doesn’t interest Him as He rejoices inside my heart;
